Parliamentary Candidates in Huye and Kamonyi Elected

The Democratic Green Party of Rwanda is pleased to inform its members and the public that it concluded district meetings for party members in Huye and Kamonyi districts on 17th and 18th February 2018.

Party members also had an opportunity to elect two parliamentary candidates, both male and female, who will represent those districts. They also elected district committee leaders.

The trainings offered skills in management of political conflicts, rules and regulations regarding elections and electoral campaigns, women involvement in decision making organs, gender issues and the party’s political ideology.

These consultative meetings will continue for the remaining 11 districts as a key activity in the preparation of the upcoming parliamentary elections.
